Interview with CBS New York on Compassionate Leadership

The death of George Floyd has brought up discussions about organizations and their approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion. CBS New York reached out to Compassionate Leadership expert Magalie René about anti-racism and compassionate leadership in the workplace and what it should look like. I shared my thoughts on how to achieve it in the most authentic way possible. We all have a part to play in fighting racism and organizations must actively choose to lead by example on our nation’s journey toward equity and inclusion.

On the anniversary of George Floyd’s passing our very own Compassionate Leader expert Magalie René got the opportunity to interview with CBS Dallas. It has been a difficult yet eye-opening year for many but there is still much change and conversations to be had. I shared my thoughts on how to keep having discussions about racial inequality, especially with people who are reluctant or fearful because it is such a sensitive topic.
